Description
This mid terraced house is in a pretty bad state at the moment. Our aim is to extend it and completely refurbish it. On top of it, it will be redesigned and reconstructed following modern techniques, as outlined in our recycling and climate change article.
Scope
- VORBILD Stages 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 plus coordinating the structural design and building control process
- Planning permission from Bethnal Green council granted for new single storey side extension with sloping roof and roof lights
- Improved roof and wall insulation and a brand new heating system have improved the thermal efficiency
- Total project duration 10 months, 4 months on site
