Scope
We are creating a larger new home for two and their dog, who is thrilled to have such a great garden.
We got this commission after our clients have seen our recently completed project in the area, which is a fairly similar development – 0881. We have seen many Victorian terraced houses in our now 11 years of trading, however, it always amazes us how different the buildings have been built. This one has narrow shared access to the back garden, where the boundary line runs right in the middle of this passage. Also, the other difference to previously re-designed buildings is that our side elevation is uneven. The previous owners have however managed to squeeze in an almost labyrinth-like shower area, which has made ingenious use of the space.
The front reception room will be transformed into the master bedroom, likely with a new build ensuite. The rear the small rear reception room will become a guest bedroom and have a second dairy function as a home office. The rear part of the house however will need to be completely transformed and made open. The plan is to extend full wits to the side and back to form a new open-plan living dining kitchen area overlooking the gorgeous and quiet rear garden.
Construction is scheduled to begin later in 2021.
