I could write a lot about the design of this apartment and the great relationship between our clients and our contractors. However, the single most thing I will remember from this experience is that this apartment was built despite lockdowns, delays in materials – everyone had to endure them in 2020. Since this was an apartment though, there was additional pressure to not cause noise and other disturbance to our many neighbours. To minimize noise, and chasing into the solid walls, we agreed to add more plaster boards to ceilings and walls to then quietly cut into them, rather than solid walls. Working hours were also reduced to a minimum for weeks.
All in all, this was a great time for collaboration and finding ways to get the job done. None of this would have been possible without our great clients and, last not least, Capital House Projects.
