Our Clients have lived at the house for some time already but needed assistance to adapt it to their needs and desires.

The property has been enlarged with a three level side extension and extensive internal refurbishments was carried out on the inside.

Scope

  • VORBILD Stages 0, 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 plus coordinating the structural design and building control process
  • Planning permission with Westminster City council granted for a three storey side extension, changes to rear facing windows and doors to this semi detached property
  • new front bin store with green roof, permitted after successful appeal
  • Improved roof insulation, all new insulated external render, new timber framed windows, doors and roof lights, efficient wet underfloor heating and a brand new heating system have improved the EPC rating
  • special feature – double height space in the new side extension featuring a children play area
  • Total project duration 12 months, 8 months on site
