Roof extension and creation of 2 additional rental flats for a property developer.
Initially, the property was a 3 storey building, containing a commercial unit on the ground floor and a maisonette above. The building was extended at the top by an addition of a mansard roof. The space contains now a one bedroom flat.
The maisonette below was converted into 2 separate one bedroom flats. The internal staircase was reconverted and redone to allow access to all three flats.
We worked very close with the property developer in order to deliver the project of maximising the space and reviving the building, on a very tight budget. The property was modernised throughout, with also the facade of the building being refurbished to improve the overall look.
