Although some ecologically beneficial changes are easier done than others, and some would only be fully successful if you were building from scratch, there’s still plenty to consider, whatever kind of property you have. For example, most lights can be switched to LEDs, and changing a boiler can be relatively simple, too. If you’re planning a new extension, there’s even more you can do, such as investing in very good thermal insulation, a green roof and double- if not triple-glazed windows. Every change will help you to reduce your carbon footprint.
